Help Lehetőségek Tere (Space of Opportunities) articulate clearly what value it offers young people, companies and professional partners, and with what messages, channels and engagement offers it should reach them.
Lehetőségek Tere (Space of Opportunities) is a non-formal learning and cultural programme and community space of the Tranzit Hungary Public Benefit Association in Práter Street, Budapest. Shaped together with its participants, the space is at once a creative and thinking workshop, an exhibition space and a venue for a wide range of programmes. Its methodological approaches draw on participatory art, philosophical practice and critical pedagogy. At the heart of its programmes are thinking together, experiential learning, collaboration, creation and connection. Lehetőségek Tere aims to help participants discover new perspectives, experience the power of community, and relate to themselves and their social environment more consciously and critically.
We are looking for an expert with experience in brand, marketing, communications or B2B value proposition development to help Lehetőségek Tere articulate what special value the organisation as a whole offers its different target groups. Its programme communication and social media presence are strong, but there is currently no unified answer to why a young person should engage regularly, why a company should collaborate as a partner, or why a professional organisation should initiate a joint project. The aim of the project is therefore not a general communication strategy or a new visual identity, but a clear value proposition, key messages, engagement options, CTAs and channel logic for 3–4 key target groups. The system must convey the organisation’s mission and uniqueness beyond programme communication.
Brand and marketing strategy, value proposition design, target group and stakeholder segmentation, building a messaging system, B2B and partner communication, community and youth communication, channel strategy, articulating CTAs and partner offers.
Experienced – We are looking for a communications or marketing expert who can translate the values of a diverse cultural and community organisation for each target group while preserving a unified organisational identity. It is important that they provide not only slogans, but also a usable decision framework for whom the team should communicate with, what, why and where.
Communication for cultural, youth, community or educational organisations; nonprofit or purpose-driven brands; corporate partner offers; B2B communication and sales enablement; community building; facilitating target group interviews or workshops.
The ability to see what matters, sensitive use of language, creativity, structured thinking, good questioning technique, facilitation, empathy for target groups, simplification, and the ability to describe a multifaceted organisation clearly yet authentically for each target group.
1 person
One staff member from the organisation can dedicate 2–4 hours per week to supporting the project, and the whole team can be involved for joint decision sessions if needed. The project can take place online or in person in Budapest. Lehetőségek Tere already has programme descriptions, a social media presence and materials presenting partner collaborations, so the project builds on organising and developing these further. It does not include a full rebrand, visual identity design, website redesign, campaign delivery or ongoing social media management.
A short review of existing mission, programme and partner materials. Refining and prioritising the most important target groups, especially young people/participants, companies, and professional and institutional partners. For each target group, exploring what need or motivation Lehetőségek Tere responds to, what value the other party receives, and what concrete ways there are to get involved. Articulating a clear value proposition and 3–5 key messages for each target group. Identifying the main objections, misunderstandings and uncertainties, and developing short responses to them. Formulating CTAs and collaboration offers that fit each target group. Defining which channels and content types are suitable for reaching each target group. Preparing a simple communication matrix: target group – value proposition – key message – proof – CTA – channel. Preparing a few concrete sample texts or outreach panels for young people, companies and professional partners. Recommending how to build the framework into everyday programme communication and partner outreach.
A brand, marketing or communications expert who enjoys turning complex values into clear target group messages. The ideal candidate understands both community and youth communication and corporate partner thinking, and can maintain a shared, authentic organisational narrative between the two.
Lehetőségek Tere’s programmes are easy to communicate on their own, but if the value of the organisation as a whole and the different ways to get involved are not clear, potential participants and partners find it harder to understand why they should engage in the longer term. A value proposition tailored to target groups can help the organisation’s visibility and partnerships keep pace with its professional development.
The chance to use your marketing and communications expertise to clarify the messaging system of an organisation with strong professional content that speaks to many different target groups. Your work can directly help involve young people, build corporate partnerships and develop professional collaborations.
